Two Janesville Students Honored as Cedar Falls Exchange Club Students of the Month

The Cedar Falls Exchange Club has recognized two outstanding Janesville Consolidated School District students, Danika Moulds and Logan Lashbrook, as Students of the Month. This honor celebrates their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to their school and community.

Danika and Logan were selected by school staff for their exemplary character and contributions both inside and outside the classroom. As part of this recognition, they were invited to attend a special luncheon hosted by the Cedar Falls Exchange Club at the Americans for Independent Living facility in Cedar Falls. The event brings together six high school students from the area who have demonstrated exceptional qualities of service and leadership.

Beyond the monthly recognition, these students have the opportunity to participate in the Exchange Club Youth of the Year Program, which includes submitting an essay and other materials highlighting their achievements and vision for community service. Local winners can advance to district and national levels, where scholarships of up to $10,000 are awarded. The Cedar Falls Exchange Club has a proud history of producing district winners and even a national Youth of the Year.

This honor reflects the dedication and hard work of Danika and Logan, who continue to make a positive impact on their school and community. Congratulations to both students on this well-deserved recognition!
