Read Around Town Celebration

Learning, teamwork, and great choices paid off for the students in Ms. Hugh's fourth-grade class!

As part of the fun celebration opportunities on the big game board in the hallway between the elementary and the office, Ms. Hugh’s class recently earned a "Read Around Town" celebration. After a visit to the Public Library, the class enjoyed making a few special stops around town before heading back to school.

So how did they earn it? The students had to defeat Ms. Hugh in a Teacher vs. Students Challenge. To win, the students needed to earn 10 points before Ms. Hugh did by transitioning efficiently, following directions, and requiring one or fewer reminders. Through teamwork, responsibility, and positive behavior, they reached their goal. Their hard work earned them a memorable reading adventure beyond the classroom walls.

Take a look at the photos and see if you can identify all of the places our fourth graders stopped along the way! Can you guess each location?

Congratulations to Ms. Hugh's class on a job well done! Keep up the great work as you continue earning exciting celebrations!
